Korean Cultural Center of Chicago and the Chicago Korean Education Center will co-host our first '김장 (Gimjang : the annual kimchi-making)' event.
All ingredients for kimchi will be provided, and you will be able to make your own kimchi easily with professional guidance!
Date : November 20 (Wed)
Time : 10:30 AM~12:30PM? (lunch time included)
Place : Korean Cultural Center of Chicago 9930 Capitol Drive, Wheeling, IL 60090
Fee : $5 (Lunch will be provided) for admission + $15 per big sized glass jar of Kimchi to bring home (cheaper than the market price!)
What to bring : Apron, Food prep gloves, Vegetable (Julienne) slicer, Knife, Cutting board, Container for Kimchi
