Overseas Korean Agency invite overseas Korean teens and young adults to visit their proud homeland of Korea.
The 2025 OKFriends Homecoming Teens & Youth Camp offers the chance to experience
Korea’s history, culture, society, and economy. We encourage many to take part in this
program, where participants can strengthen their Korean identity and pride.
1. Overview
A. Purpose
○ Invite next-generation overseas Koreans to Korea and provide hands-on
experiences in history, culture, society, and the economy to foster a stronger
sense of Korean identity and pride
○ Strengthen the bonds among next-generation overseas Koreans and between them
and domestic Korean youth, contributing to future-oriented mutual development
○ Support the growth of overseas Koreans into global leaders with a strong sense
of Korean identity
B. Eligibility
○ Teens Camp Overseas Korean teens aged 15 to 18 (as of Jun. 16, 2025)
○ Youth Camp Overseas Korean teens aged 18 to 25 (as of Jul. 8, 2025)
C. Period and Number of Participants
○ See attached files
D. Location
○ Seoul and the metropolitan area: 3 or 4 nights
○ Other regions: 2 or 3 nights
E. Main Programs
○ Opening and closing ceremonies; hands-on experiences in Korean history, culture,
society, and economy; programs to strengthen overseas Koreans’ identity
(lectures, activities, performances); team-building and recreational programs, etc.

2. Application
A. Application Period
○ From the date of announcement until Mon, Apr. 21, 2025 ※ Application closes on Apr. 21 (Mon) at 23:59 (KST)
B. Eligibility & Preferred Applicants
○ Eligibility
- Age Requirements
• (Teens Camp 1st – 6th sessions): Overseas Korean teens aged 15 to 18 (as of Jun. 16, 2025)
• (Youth Camp 1st – 3rd sessions): Overseas Korean youth aged 18 to 25 (as of Jul. 8, 2025) ※ Those aged 18 may apply for either the Teens Camp or Youth Camp (but not both)
- Residency Requirement: Overseas Koreans who have legally resided abroad for
five years or more
• Overseas Koreans of foreign nationality, overseas Koreans with permanent
residency, overseas Korean nationals, adoptees, children of adoptees, and
children from multicultural families
• Must be in good physical and mental health and able to fully participate in
the program

1) 항공료 지원
○ 지역별 왕복 항공료 정액 지원(일반석 기준)

2) 연수 경비
○ 연수기간에 한하여 숙박ㆍ식사ㆍ교통비·프로그램 참가비 등 연수 경비 전액 제공(개인 경비 제외)제공(개인 경비 제외)
○ 연수기간에 한하여 개별 여행자 보험 가입 지원(상해ㆍ질병 등 보장)
